"Together we can face any challenges as deep as the ocean and as high as the sky."
Hello and thank you for stopping in here!
My name is Camilla Blanton, I'm a Swede, gone Texan, living in California. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) practicing in Riverside County of California and serving virtual clients in California & Texas.
I am a passionate non-diet dietitian who believes in rebuilding and repairing your relationship with food. I believe in meeting you where you are to help regain your trust in the beautiful built-in hunger/fullness signaling system of your body. Allowing you the power of listening and responding to your daily needs and ditching the diets forever. WE will work together to set your goals, confront specific fear foods, and ultimately reframe your relationship with food & exercise.
My experience & background spans multiple levels of care for eating disorders. In Texas I had the opportunity to work at several different levels of care including residential treatment, partial hospitalization treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and over the last year I have spent my time in outpatient nutrition counseling.
Helping clients from all walks of life to rebuild and develop a positive relationship with food is one of the most rewarding parts of my job and I am always honored to be able to walk alongside you in your fight for ditching diet culture for good.
I've travelled a little bit all over and have loved learning about the many different cultures the world has to offer!
Hoping that we get the chance to travel again soon...
The smell of a freshly brewed cup of coffee in the morning is my favorite way to start the day!
What do you prefer, coffee or tea?
I don't own a dog....BUT if I had to choose I would definitely get myself a Bernadoodle!
My entire family moved to the United States back in the year 2000 and have lived in the great state of Texas before moving to California!
I like to say 2.5 because my French is getting rusty.
The other two are of course English & Swedish.
Prior to embarking on my studies in nutrition I spent 6 months as an Au Pair in France...this is where that 0.5 of a language happened.
